The City of New Smyrna Beach is looking for ways to improve Washington Street and is turning to residents for some insight.

New Smyrna Beach city officials will host a Washington Streetscape public forum, where the public can give their suggestions and feedback. They have already proposed improvement ideas, such as new stormwater drainage, decorative lighting, new sidewalks, and more. They’ll present those designs and plans while listening to the public’s feedback.

The public forum will be on February 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the James W. Hathaway Chambers located of Sams Avenue.

For more, contact City Engineer Kyle Fegley at kfegley@cityofnsb.com or (386)410-2811.
