Fire destroys clubhouse at Golf Course in New Smyrna Beach

The New Smyrna Beach Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 4:26 a.m. on Tuesday at 2600 Turnbull Estates Drive, The Preserve at Turnbull Bay Golf Course.

Upon arrival, units found the building fully engulfed in flames and immediately initiated defensive operations. Crews extinguished the blaze by 4:57 a.m.; however, the clubhouse is believed to be a total loss. The Fire Department is requesting the State Fire Marshal conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the fire.

As of this time, there have been no reports of any injuries.
