With the number of people giving blood at a 20-year low, blood and platelet donations are needed to help alleviate shortages and ensure lifesaving medical procedures.
OneBlood is bringing its Big Red Bus to New Smyrna Beach from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at NSB City Gym. Donors will receive a $20 eGift Card, a t-shirt, and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.
