Sanford Jazz Ensemble Christmas Show

The City of New Smyrna Beach is proud to present the Sanford Jazz Ensemble Christmas Show under the direction of Dave Weaver at the Brannon Center, from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17.

The band will play their renditions of “White Christmas” featuring Dave Crockett on piano and "God Bless Ye Merry Trombones" by the trombone section. Baritone saxophonist Mark Schenkel will play “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and trumpeter James Hall will be featured on “Christmas Time is Here.” “Dianne Garvis will sing “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” and “Fly Me to the Moon.” Ron Stark will perform “God Bless the USA”  and a Sam and Dave medley. Courtney Johnson will sing “Sleigh Ride” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

Also included in the show will be a military salute to our veterans in attendance and an appearance by Uncle Sam. Santa Claus will also arrive sometime during the performance. Tickets may be purchased for $15 plus tax at the door or online at www.brannoncenter.com/tickets.
