World Language Students Celebrate at Festival

The 2024 Volusia County World Languages Festival took place on Saturday, March 2, at Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach.

Volusia County world language students showcased their linguistic skills and cultural knowledge by participating in poetry and impromptu speaking competitions, art displays, a talent show, world language karaoke, traditional world dress, Japanese cultural experience, and entertainment and food booths, sponsored by a variety of World Language clubs from around the district. Parents, family members, and friends attended.

Local partners provide money for student scholarships each year. This year, scholarships were presented to 7 students. Seabreeze Multicultural Club and Spanish Honor Society students were a tremendous volunteer crew.
