Whistle Stop Park

Whistle Stop Park is a popular city-run site featuring a wide range of activities. Located near the FEC railroad tracks in Edgewater, this sports facility includes little league fields as well as an adult field. The park also has a playground, two pavilions, picnic tables, a skate park and a concession stand. The first youth ball field contains a 40 – 60 ft. pitcher’s mound, 60-90 ft. base paths and a 250 ft. fence. The second youth ball field contains a 46 ft. pitcher’s mound, 60 ft. base paths and a 250 ft. fence. Whistle Stop Park also has four lighted tennis courts, four lighted racquetball courts and an outdoor basketball court.

Please note: This park is currently closed for park improvements. Improvements include a splashpark, playground, a new skate park, restrooms, improved lighting, a 1/2 mile walking trail, fitness kiosks, a volleyball court, a dog park, greenspace and new tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts, parking, landscaping and stormwater management system.
