Upcoming City Commission Funding Review

The New Smyrna Beach City Commission will hear department-by-department funding requests for next year’s city budget during a public workshop from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 in the James W. Hathaway Commission Chambers located at 214 Sams Ave. The schedule will be as follows:

• Public Participation: 9-9:30 a.m.
• Fleet & Maintenance Operations: 9:30-10:15 a.m.
• Leisure Services: 10:15-10:45 a.m.
• Break: 10:45-11 a.m.
• Police: 11-11:30 a.m.
• Information Technology: 11:30 a.m.-noon
• Lunch: Noon-1 p.m.
• Development Services: 1-1:30 p.m.
• Airport: 1:30-2 p.m.
• Administrative: 2-2:30 p.m.
• Break: 2:30-2:40 p.m.
• Capital Projects: 2:40-3:10 p.m.
• Fire: 3:10-4 p.m.
• Commission Comments: 4-4:30 p.m.
