Thanks to heavy damage from recent storm events, the wheelchair access ramps at Marianne Clancy Park and 27th Avenue Beachfront Park are closed until further notice. New Smyrna Beach city staff is working with Volusia County and state agencies on the repairs.

The women’s restroom at Grayce K. Barck North Beach Community Park, off Atlantic Avenue, is also closed due to recent vandalism damage. The stainless-steel sink and plumbing need replacing before it may open back up.

Installation of replacement plumbing will be complete in seven to ten days.

Residents are encouraged to help wipe out vandalism and graffiti by calling New Smyrna Beach Police non-emergency at (386)424-2220 or Maintenance Operations at (386)424-2205.
