SCCU began in 1951 with 7 founding members, as Patrick Air Force Base Credit Union serving 28 members, with $372 in assets. Today, SCCU serves more than 400,000 members. We have over $4 billion in assets, making us the third largest credit union in Florida. We serve 29 counties, with 59 branch locations that span Florida’s east coast, from Flagler to Miami-Dade counties.

As a member-owned financial cooperative, we exist to serve our membership. In many ways, we resemble a bank, offering the same services like checking, savings, and loans, but we differ in one major way, and that difference is YOU!  You are not a customer; You’re a member and an owner of the credit union. So, our profits are returned to members in the form of better rates, lower fees, and enhanced services. We have local decision making, and we strive to deliver exceptional service to our members.
