New Smyrna Beach Free Summer Concert Series adds three additional shows.

With three performances from the Free Summer Concert Series canceled in July and August due to inclement weather, the City of New Smyrna Beach has added three additional concerts to the series, beginning Thursday, September 2.

The concert scheduled for Thursday, September 2, will feature the high-energy Rockabilly band The Legendary Cyclones. Rockabilly dates back to the 1950s and is known as one of the earliest stages of rock. 

The September 9 performance will feature Alex and Jenny, seasoned musicians, who perform at Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal City Walk, Disney Springs, the Orange County Convention Center, and other resorts and corporate events nationwide. 

The September 16 performance features Packrat’s Smokehouse, a national recording blues band founded in 1989 by Anthony "Packrat" Thompson from New Smyrna Beach.

All artists will perform on the stage under the Gazebo at Riverside Park, located next to the Brannon Center from, 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.
