Edgefest Earth Day Festival

Edgefest Earth Day Festival will take place on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Hawks Park in Edgewater. The free event includes a tree and seed giveaway, food, music, vendors, a butterfly garden, arts and crafts, and educational information.

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by Earthday.org including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. The official theme for 2024 is "Planet vs. Plastics."
