The COVID-19 testing site in the Jesse Stevenson Kovalenko Memorial Gymnasium at 1000 Live Oak Street in New Smyrna Beach will temporarily close from Monday, September 12 - Friday, September 16 to facilitate upgrades to the building's fire prevention system.

The testing site offers antigen test results within one hour and PCR test results within 24 to 48 hours, thanks to a partnership between the City of New Smyrna Beach and Nomi Health, a direct healthcare company coordinating COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts across the country. The samples collected through the site are processed in a CLIA-certified laboratory using FDA EUA-authorized test kits.

Once the building’s fire prevention system upgrades are complete, the site will reopen during its normal business hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those needing a test should bring an insurance card if they have one. Individuals who do not have insurance will not be turned away.

Appointments are not required, but you may register in advance by visiting www.nomihealth.com/fl and selecting your location.
