The City of New Smyrna Beach’s Engineering Department will host a public meeting on November 30 at 6 p.m. at the Brannon Center off South Riverside Drive.

The public meeting will address speeding concerns along South Riverside Drive from Andrews Street to 5th Street. The outcome could impact South Riverside and the surrounding roadway systems, so residents are encouraged to attend.

City engineers will go over the Traffic Calming Program Handbook, which the City Commission adopted last September, and discuss safe and efficient pedestrian options, vehicular movement, feedback, and ideas.

The Traffic Calming Program Handbook is available for review here.

For more information, contact City Engineer Kyle Fegley at kfegley@cityofnsb.com or (386) 410-2811.
